The Metallak Streamer

A while back I wrote a story for the NH Outdoor Gazette about Metallak the “Lone Indian of the COOS” Shortly after the article appeared a fellow by the name of Steve Parisi stopped by the shop and showed me a fly named Metallak. Steve had read the article and thought that I might be interested in the fly. Steve had come up with the idea for the fly and had commissioned Bob Bibeau to tie the fly. Needless to say I had to have one and managed to talk Steve into giving up one of his prized flies.

Soon after our meeting Steve sent me a letter with the detailed instructions on how to tie the fly. The fly may be tied as a tandem or as a casting streamer.
